Welcome to the 12th International Congress of Theoretical Chemical Physics — ISTCP 2027
On behalf of the local scientific and organizing committees, it is my great pleasure to invite you to the 12th triennial congress of the International Society for Theoretical Chemical Physics (ISTCP 2027), to be held from August 29 to September 3, 2027, in Corrientes, Argentina. This will be the first time that the Congress is held in the Southern Hemisphere.
As is customary for these triennial congresses we will offer a program covering the most relevant areas of the Chemical-Physics including electronic-structure theory, atomic and molecular response properties, molecular and quantum dynamics, catalysis, materials science, machine learning, quantum computing, novel phenomena and highly accurate calculations among others.
Our special commitment is to ensure that your stay in Corrientes—and in our region as a whole—is as pleasant and enriching as possible, both in terms of exchanging new and inspiring scientific findings with colleagues from all over the world and in experiencing a warm and stimulating environment that fosters both human and scientific interactions. Corrientes on the Paraná
Provincial capital on the Paraná River, known for its Costanera, chamamé music (UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage), Carnival traditions and as a gateway to the Iberá wetlands. Late August and early September bring mild days by the riverfront — the setting for ISTCP 2027 at the Centro de Convenciones Corrientes.

The congress will be held at the Centro de Convenciones Corrientes (Av. Gregorio Pomar 802), with modern facilities and access to hotels, restaurants and cultural attractions. Most international participants fly via Buenos Aires (EZE/AEP) to Corrientes (CNQ) or Resistencia (RES); see travel details below.

Getting here: Corrientes International Airport (CNQ) has regular connections via Buenos Aires (e.g. low-cost and full-service carriers). Resistencia Airport (RES) across the river is an alternate. From the airport, taxi or hotel transfer to the Costanera / downtown.
