Guidance for international participants travelling to Corrientes, Argentina for ISTCP 2027.
Who needs a visa?
Entry rules depend on your passport. Many nationalities may enter Argentina for short stays without a visa; others must apply in advance. Always verify with the Argentine embassy or consulate in your country before booking travel. Official information is published by the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Cancillería) and Migration authorities.

Processing time
Start early. If a visa is required, plan several months ahead for appointments, document translation/legalization and courier delays.
Invitation letters
Once your registration is confirmed, the Local Organizing Committee can issue an official invitation letter to support visa applications and institutional travel authorizations.
Request an invitation letter
Email info@istcp2027.ar with subject line ISTCP 2027 Invitation letter request and include:
- Full name exactly as on your passport
- Nationality and passport number (if required by your consulate)
- Affiliation / institution and country
- Registration confirmation reference (when available)
- Abstract / contribution ID if applicable
- Postal or consular address if a hard copy is needed
Letters are normally issued after registration is confirmed. While registration is closed, you may still contact the committee with questions; formal letters will follow once registration opens.
Recommended timeline
- Confirm registration as early as possible.
- Request an invitation letter several months before travel if a visa is required.
- Allow extra time for appointments and document legalization where needed.
- Keep digital and printed copies of your invitation, registration and hotel booking.
